Born and raised on Long Island, Reece is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. At Tisch, Reece spent all his time making no-budget shorts and music videos, interning at Sony Music, and building his production company, Kairon Pictures.

As a director, Reece aims to make memorable work, whether it’s striking visuals, funny situations, or just something you haven’t seen before. He’s overly concerned with existentialism and aims for his work to either reflect that or take your mind off it.

Reece’s work has premiered at the Tribeca Festival and shortlisted for Cannes Lions’ Young Directors Awards, 1.4 Awards, Berlin Commercial Awards, and more. In 2024, he was selected for SHOOTS Magazines’ New Directors Showcase. His narrative short “Damien’s Gym” was acquired by Generation Iron for distribution and is now available on AppleTV.

Reece is currently in pre-production on his debut documentary feature, shooting late 2025.
